Happy 2013 .......

Well it was a busy 2012 and we were thrilled to be in good graces with every single customer....The customers were very kind to our entire staff and made us feel very welcomed to the HUNTINGTON NY area....I hope we can achieve an even greater 2013. We do sell puppies and we do promote the adoption of Homeless Pets as well. We intend to do greater projects with agencies in need....We intend to be rigid in the screening of our breeders and when in doubt we will contact the proper state agencies, as we have done thru ought the years.....Have a great 2013 !!!!

Doooos and Don'ts

Another weekend of very sweet families visiting us. We did help everyone find the best puppy for their family and we do insist they take them home now. Bringing home a puppy for the holiday is not the best choice for a new puppy. It's better to bring home the puppy now and give the children  dog clothes, toys and books for the holiday. Bringing a puppy into a house full of people is very stressful for the new puppy and there is a great risk of the puppy becoming ill. This is when we must say NO to the customer. If the customer insists, then we tend to believe this is also the type of home which is not suitable for a new pet. Of course there are some exceptions to the rule, if it's a customer with some pet experience. Anyway,  I think we have the cutest puppies this year and that's a big deal after doing this for over 24 years........come visit us anytime!

You MUST be educated............

We just finished a busy weekend and In came all the internet puppy purchasers.....It blows my mind at how people purchase this way, each person is upset because these puppies,(which  should still be with their mother) will not eat . I simply cannot believe the size of the puppies that the internet puppy sellers will deliver.  At best those puppies are 6 weeks and each person really believes their puppy will NOT grow, let alone the fact that they just had a puppy delivers to the aiport from one of the mass production kennels . We chuckle when they say our puppies are too big, " I want to scream, they are 10 weeks old and healthy"!  Our puppies are socialized and eating very well when they leave us.....

"Otus" in the house.........

We did an adoption this past week for a breeder with a blind 6 month old Goldendoodle named, " Otus".  With the help of our customers we found him the most amazing home with a family in Huntington. These people are simply ANGELS on earth. They just brought him in for grooming and he looks great and he seems so happy with his new life. If you are looking to rescue a pet feel free to contact us or other animal agencies thru ought the area.

We made it through the storm and all the puppies were just fine. I never realized how much we all need electricity. Our generators were just great!!!!    You must come see our boutique NOW it is all ready for christmas......Amazing merchandise and the store looks outrageous thanks to Open House Interiors of Roslyn......

GOTTA LOVE THAT MAYOR!!!!!

When I listend to Mayor Blumberg I was blown away by his compassion. He stressed the importance of evacuating from low lying areas in NYC due to hurricane Sandy and then he said, " Please go to our shelters located all over the Tri State area and please bring your PETS". Just before he said this I'm thinking the entire time what are all these people going to do with their pets?  all I can say is, Godbless the United States and MAYOR BLUMBERG!!!!

I have 4 at home.......

In our puppy nursey is a  blue French Bulldog puppy named " Halston"and he is just a little Love, but with 4 dogs at home it's crazy. He is so sweet and just loves everyone that comes to our nursery, However I have 4 at home. He comes running to me like, " Daddy"  "Daddy" "Daddy", However I have 4 at home. My oldest dog "Weezer" is a 15 year old Brussels Griffon and she would just hate him. "Cecilley" my 8 year old Yorkie would take all his treats and hide them. " Harper" my 9 year old Brussels Griffon would adore him as she adores everyone. " Violet" or as some call her "Violent" would kick his puppy ass until he acknowledges her as the BOSS. I must be strong and not bring him home. You see I have 4 at home.......
